Membership in the Sacramento Black Nurses Association is open to Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses and nursing students currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Membership shall be open without regard to race, creed, age, gender, sexual orienation, religion or handicap.
Members may be Active or Inactive.
Active Members pay dues, actively participate on at least one committee, accept committee work, and attend monthly meetings regularly. They are also eligible for election to office.
Inactive Members pay dues and receive the minutes; however, they do not attend meetings or serve on committees.
Meetings are held every third Monday, at Kaiser Cottage Building, 3120 Cottage Ave, Sacramento. Across from the Kaiser Hospital on Morse Ave. 6PM - 7 PM, conference room B. Please call 916 366-1831 for possible changes in meeting.
Annual dues are $60 for active nurses, $30 for retired nurses and $15 for nursing students.
